Wild harvested Pure Essential Oils are derived from plants that are grown and gathered from a natural habitat rather than a cultivated and controlled greenhouse. Although they are not classified as certified organic, the hand picked growers and harvesters of our plants warrant that none have been subjected to synthetic chemicals (pesticides, fertilisers etc.) and are only grown and harvested in conditions totally favourable to the health of the plant. This results in essential oils that combine purity with health – translating to the very best of benefits for their ultimate use.

Research on odour reveals we respond emotionally to smell more than to any of our other senses. Whether using the oils therapeutically to enhance our wellbeing, or purely for pleasure, there are various effective ways to benefit from their unique properties:
Massage - This is one of the oldest and very best methods to enjoy the rewards of aromatherapy due to the benefit massage action brings to our body, skin and tissues. As Pure Essential Oils should not be applied directly to the skin, they need to be diluted first. To do this, mix up to 5 drops of Pure Essential Oil, or blend of oils, with one tablespoon of a vegetable/blender base.
Bathing - This is one of the easiest and most enjoyable forms of therapy. Just before getting into a bath of moderately hot water, add 3-5 drops of essential oil, or blend of oils, then agitate the water to disperse. While you relax in the bath, a small amount of oil is absorbed by the skin and the rest is slowly evaporated by the heat of the water. For showering use – add 3-4 drops into your sponge or flannel and run under hot water. This will release the beneficial essential oil aromas.
Vapourisation - The evaporative properties of Pure Essential Oils make them ideal for use in an oil burner or electric vaporizer. Simply add 6-12 drops of essential oil, or blend of oils, to hot water in your burner – an ideal usage for the home or office. All The Natural Source ceramic vaporizers are double glazed to ensure essential oils do not penetrate otherwise porous ceramic.
Inhalation - Some Pure Essential Oils, such as Tea Tree or Lavender with wonderful clearing properties, are ideal for inhalation. Add 3-5 drops of pure essential oil to a bowl of hot water (not boiling) and inhale the vapour for 5-10 minutes. If this method is not convenient, simply add 1-2 drops of essential oil to a soft tissue and inhale.
Use Pure Essential Oils to help bring your mind, spirit and home environment into balance – the unique properties of Pure Essential Oils mean you can find the perfect oil (or blend of oils) to suit your needs.
